Mobile Blog #September 2007#

I find it really funny. Yesterday I was totally annoyed because my co-worker always considers my good intentions as bad ideas at the beginning. But mostly she finds them later very good. And today as I accidentally checked out my daily horoscope, it said: "Try not to worry too much about how people will respond to your ideas today -- the positive energy might almost be overwhelming! It's a great day to suggest new directions in business or love."

Normally I start a new day with new spirits. Lately it's been quite hard for me, since I don't have a certain assignment area right now. It's been quite some time, since I worked. Another co-worker suggested that I talked to my boss about this. I intend to ask for my own area during the consultation by the end of this year. Currently I'm doing quite a lot of programming and I know that I have brought some great ideas how the work can be done automatically. Well, that's the purpose of batch jobs, right? The thing is, since I'm not really part of the programming team, I always get criticized everytime I try to make something new to reduce the work load. I'm kinda standing in the middle right now and doing silly stuff for others because they don't want to do them themselves.

I shouldn't stress my own situation for this moment, since my family is coming to visit me next month. It's also quite a stress since I need to organize the 17-day-trips around Europe. Well, this time it's only gonna be Germany, the Netherlands, Belgien and France. I have booked the hotels and the tickets. I still need to look for information on the tourist attractions.

Hopefully I can get through this month easily. I guess, I just need vacation …:o)
