I was browsing on the internet a couple days agao as I accidentally found an interesting blog about the Nokia E-Series. I browsed the whole entries in 2 days. There were lots of interesting entries I read which excited me to write the blog again. The main reason why I didn't write alot of entries, was because I was too lazy. It was for me too unpractical, since I had to do it in front of the computer. As I wanted to change the look of my current blog, I found out that there is another way to write entries for the blog. It is with your mobile phone. I was so convinced with the idea that I did some tests. It worked flawlessly. That means I can also write some entries e.g. on my way home from work. It takes me about almost half an hour to come home by train. Some may say, well .. you can listen to some music or read a book. There are times, when I don't want to listen to any music or read any book. Besides, if I take the regional train (very ancient historical), it is normally louder so that I need to turn up the volume of my iPod. The consequence is I will become deaf soon. That's why I only listen to the music when I take the express train. Besides, I need a change from time to time. I know my nature, that I complain a lot. Rather than putting it on some innocent people, it is better to write it down. So, I guess soon I will write more entries with my Nokia E61.
Another solution to my "illness" regarding the emails, is the Push Email Service. I used to check emails at work since I didn't have an internet connection. Now I have one and I don't find it necessary to check it at the office. I read once in an article, that checking emails constantly every minute or even second is an illness of the internet generation or the business people. They just can't stop checking emails everywhere they are. I realized that I was one of these sick people. However, since I get fewer and fewer emails in the past months, I found it stupid to check my emails every hour. So, I came to my senses after finding this interesting solution. Normally you would say, the service has been being offered since the Blackberry handsets were introduced. Yes, it was totally useless for non-business users. But the service I am using is free of charge. So, if I receive new mails, my handset will play the incoming mails music (I choose the music from Ryuichi Sakamoto). Now I don't bother to check the emails, unless I need to sit and reply those emails.
The nicest solution I found was the VoIP. I found the software to dial over Skype on my handset. The program is not integrated yet, but it is very convenient. I can just use my mobile and dial through the internet. I tried it today. It worked but the quality was relatively bad. I am not sure whether it has something to do with the service provider. I intend to try out another provider.
I am getting sleepy now. Time for bed.
