Independence Day

Finally the day of my graduation has come. I graduated on 06.06.06 as Diplom-Mathematiker(FH) after the long journey from Indonesia to Germany. It took me 5 years to finish the study despite all the troubles I faced during these years. I also had the chance to gather some values work experiences in the past 3 years. At least half way of my life is fulfilled. Now the time has come for the last half way.

I was totally satisfied about the results. Designing the new presentation was worth it. I wasn't able to stay strict to the script I prepared during the presentation, but for that I was able to speak up freely during the presentation which made me very happy. I also got some credits from the Professors about the work. And the best thing above all was that I didn't have to wait for my results. There won't be this silly graduation ceremony as well, which costs you lots of money. As a change, there will be a "normal" graduation ceremony to honour the graduates (of course it includes me ... hehehehe). But it will take place next year in January. I hope I'll be able to attend it. The problem is that I may move to another city - if it's necessary due to the job.

So far I haven't applied for any job yet because I'm still waiting for my certificate, which I'll get this Wednesday. I feel very excited about it ... ;)

All I can say is that I'm very happy for this achievement in my life. I have never regretted for having dropped my study in Indonesia to come to Germany. I have accomplished the things I ever wanted in my life and I will continue doing it. RIght now I'm focusing my eye on a vacancy ad given by my Professor. It fits me all the way ... the only problem is that I may move to another if I get it. But, well .... the change may be another good experience in my life.
