Deadline

It's still about 2 more weeks before I must hand over my thesis at the Faculty II Office. I experimented about 8 hours yesterday. I corrected the chapters and made some necessary changes. I let the simulation's program run in the background. I thought at the end that I received an enlightment what the problem was in the simulation. On Monday, my Professor decided that I should report the results as they were. However, I was not totally different. My Professor expected that the statistical method I simulated should work significantly. But, the results were rather disappointing. We ran the program several times and tried to figure out where the problems were. It was hopeless. I wrote the program correctly. She couldn't find any error in my program. Feeling disappointed, I kept thinking and thinking until yesterday as I accidently added the additional random factor in the program and tried several other scenarios. It worked somehow although I'm still not sure whether there is an anomaly in the data model I use for the simulation. Before, I set the final writing, I still want to show the results to her the first thing I meet her again next week after the Easter holiday. I was totally electrified yesterday knowing that there was and must still be some errors in our assumptions.

Today I woke up quite early to send a notification letter to the Administration Office for terminating the contract of my current dormitory room. Finally, I can loosen up my mind from this old matter. The problem is that I don't live there. I only rent the room for my ex-roommate, since he didn't manage to get a room or an apartment before we got out from the old apartment. He should have taken over the room long time ago, but he kept postponing it until now. It's not necessary for him to take it over anymore since he plans to move out by the end of May. So, I need to clear the matter and I'm glad that I finally did it. It would have been a huge problem if the Administrator catches him living there illegally. At least, I got off one problem.
